Đurmanec - map location

Đurmanec is in the Krapina-Zagorje county in Croatia. According to the 2001 census, there are 4,481 inhabitants in the area. Numerous castles, shrines, and wine trails filled with ecological, gastronomic and many other surprises – all of these can be found in Hrvatsko Zagorje, an area not far from Zagreb which we recommend for at least a day trip.

In this area the firstwineway (“weinstrasse”) wasopenedin 1994, which enables the development of hunting and rural tourism. After the high way to Slovenia will be finished,tourism and several other activities will be revitalised, especially the traffic and opening of the small familiar shops.
