Mače - map location

Mače is a village and municipality in Krapina-Zagorje county in Croatia. According to the 2001 census, there are 2,715 inhabitants in the area, The place Mače is located on the south foothills of the mountain Ivančica. It has always been the crossroad of the regional ways. Beside the regular annual fairs, the trade and various services are the characteristics of the place. The grammar school founded in 1860 belongs to the oldest schools in Croatia, as well as the old Parish church and home.
