Krapinske Toplice is the center of the health tourism, only 40 kilometers from Zagreb. Krapinske Toplice is a village and municipality in Krapina-Zagorje county in Croatia.

Indications: Treatment and therapy at Krapinske Toplice is recommended for people who suffer from posttraumatic disorders, arthritis, degnerative rheumatic diseases, diabetes, neurolgical condtions as well as those patients recovering from operations especially cardiological surgeries.
Accommodation: Hotel Aquae-Vivae has 246 beds and the Clinic for Rheumatic Diseases 650. Additonal 350 beds can be found through the local tourist officeinprivateaccommodation.

In 1996 a specialized clinic for cardiovascular surgery and cardiology was opened in Krapinske Toplice. Two years later the doctors from Magdalena Clinic performed the firstopenheartsurgery in Croatia.
